Someone can molest a child, robbing them of their innocence and sexuality and not receive as much jail time. Parents can abuse & neglect her children and not receive as much jail time. A mother can give birth to a baby addicted to alcohol and not receive any jail time. A father can neglect to pay sufficient child support resulting in his children growing up in poverty and not receive any jail time. A person can drink and drive and risk the lives of every person in our city and also not receive as much jail time.
